Brand new album by Helios' latest incarnation of Chrome and it's a blistering fuzzed-out acid punker with loads of things in there reminiscent of the old Damon/Helios-era Chrome of days gone by, but some fresh new sounds to spice things up a bit. Starts off with some of the heaviest fuzz guitar that I have ever heard Helios employ on ANY record, and BELIEVE me, THAT says a LOT when you're talking FUZZ tones and HELIOS CREED! "Administer The Treatment" is an absolute killer opener and a great way to begin the record. The album just continues on with swirling lysergic sounds like the phased out flange of "Black Diamond." Keyboards are fantastic from newcomer Andrew, and Keith Thompson has been with Helios for a good number of years at this point and his input shines through with flying colors in the first true collaborative effort with both Keith and Helios working closely together. Can't forget long-time 20+ year drummer for Helios and Chrome reincarnations, Aleph! His drumming kicks major arse. The record has a ton of variety, but also flows together in a cohesive manner where it feels like you're being... well... LAUNCHED quite frankly through the Chrome experience. GREAT stuff!
