Interviews that were conducted for Psych Trail Mix were referenced in Ben Graham's excellent book on psychedelic music from Texas, a state that spawned some of THE best psychedelic music of our times. Ben covers Janis Joplin's early days and her run-ins with the 13th Floor Elevators crowd, Tommy Hall and his psychedelic poetry for the 13th Floor Elevators, Shiva's Headband, Powell St. John and loads more.
