This
recording finally sees light of day today, over 30 years later. Helios
Creed at the Khyber in Philly November 1991. This is a BLAZING live era
for HC with lots of raw energy and fuzzed-out wah guitar. The set leans
heavily on songs from the great Lactating Purple, the album that was
released around the time of this recording. This one was lovingly
remastered by the great ThePoodleBites over at UPV (he does incredible
work - check him out), beefing up the sound a bit and giving the
recording some much needed bottom end. There's a funny moment when
Helios warns that the next person that messes with his setup is getting
kicked out. Excellent sound, all instruments and vocals are right up in
the mix, this recording sounds great blasted on speakers as well, so
don't be afraid to CRANK it!
