Colors of Light has lots of synthesizer. The first song Muddy is sort of Helios rapping a bit! Unlike any other song he's ever done, it's strange to hear that. There's some great acoustic guitar on this record as well, particularly on Friend Of Mine, which is one of the highlights of the record. Would've liked a bit more of Helios guitar and a little less synth, but still many great songs on here. Paradise is another standout track. This record is unique unto itself, there's lots of really good acoustic guitar and nice melodic pieces that fit nicely into the record.
